The Spilling Hope endeavor’s water projects will begin this month, with the first project estimated to be completed by the end of October!

A total of 13 communities will receive a new well and clean water with proper hygiene education! Water will be hope and a blessing for people in Uganda who do not have access to clean water, the basic necessity of life. Not only will there be an immediate impact, but also economic benefit as water is vital to support economic development in communities living in poverty. Currently, women and children walk MILES everyday to access water, which often times is not even a sanitary source for clean water due to runoff, and livestock tracking through the water source. Children will even miss school and educational opportunities because they are gathering water.
The first project site is in a clinic and school in the community of Kiyindi, located approximately 70 kilometers east of Kampala. More updates and information will be provided online soon. For Spilling Hope email updates, subscribe here.
There’s still time to give on-line. The total amount of funds collected to date as a result of living simply and giving are over $129,000 of which 100% goes to fund water projects in Uganda SPILLING HOPE into tens of thousands of lives! This brings great joy to both Uganda and to our own community. May we continue to pursue living simply together. Together we can make a huge impact!
We will continue to share updates as the well digging begins. You may also subscribe to receive email updates here.
