It was summer of 2006 when Trevor Tillery decided to pack up his bags and leave his hometown of Phoenix for Seattle. Prior to moving, he had rarely ever written a song or sang on his own. “I felt like I had these songs in me for years and they all burst out of me at once because I had been holding them in for so long. I had always been just a closet singer until the songs called me to sing them. I feel like the songs found me. I did not find them,” says Tillery. It was the quiet, lonely, and creative Seattle nights filled with musical self-discovery which would spawn Raining And OK.
After a full semester of college in Seattle, Tillery felt the need to move back to Phoenix and start Raining And OK with friends Nick DuPlessis, Stephen Spears, and Austin Tingle. Since then, Raining And OK have released The Devil On Your Shoulder (LP) in 2007 and Always Will Be (EP) in 2009. They recently finished recording Living Like A Ghost, a new EP recorded in Nashville with Grammy award winning producer Mitch Dane. The EP will be released early this summer.
