The Nyakashozi community patiently waited as the Living Water trucks came and went on two separate occasions. Complications with soft clay and mud drilling caused delays, but finally clean water and a successful well was drilled at the end of June. When the Living Water workers arrived for training they used three languages for most of the training: English, Runyankole, and Luganda so that everyone could understand most portions of the training.

In particular those in the health and hygiene training were interested in what constituted a balanced diet—protein, carbohydrates, and vitamins/minerals. Those present were excited about implementing new changes to bring about healthier practices.

The group asked many questions about Jesus and The Bible, seeking to know more from the Living Water group. Partnering with the local church, the evangelism team shared about Christ and the new life He brings.

Over 500 adults and 400 children now have access to clean water located at their school. Praise the Lord for the health training, the opportunity to share more about Christ, and the clean water brought to Nyakashozi.
